We extended our holiday to Busan while the family returned for home. I have never been to Busan, and apart knowing that it is the 2nd largest city in South Korea, I absolutely have no idea what to expect there. As always, I would do a thorough research on the places to visit, but this time with just the 2 of us, we took it easy & slowly.

Seoul Station, where we board the KTX train for the 3 hours ride to Busan.

Spotted my favourite Korean actress Kim Tae Hee. So lovely.

We made our way to Haedong Yonggung Temple, which is situated on a cliff near Haeundae District.
The 12 zodiac statues guarding the entrance to the temple.
For blessings on the road, visit the Traffic Safety Prayer Pagoda.
Temple is right on the edge.
Front view.
Don't be fooled by the sunny weather. The wintry wind is cold.
Constructed by the same builder as Gyeongbokgung, perhaps.
Room with a view.
Looking out to the sea.
Dwellings along Haeundae coast.
Korean version of Inukshuk, perhaps.
Worshippers.
Temple cat #1
Temple cat #2.
Eaves dropping.
Monk figurines...
... in different dispositions.
Feed me, with your money!
Wonder Girls, watch out!
Busan, being in the south of South Korea, is less cold than Seoul. We have been here for a week so perhaps, we have acclimatised to the cold and could last longer outdoors. To keep warm, I eat adequately and frequently, giving myself the excuses to indulge in the cheap but good food & booze here. Anyway, as long as I am happy, who cares if I put on some weight?
And another travel trip awaiting....
