We started Day 2 with a visit to the popular Pier 39. Our initial plan was to take the tram, but it being a bright and sunny morning, the folks decided that we should take a stroll there.

A good start for our holiday. We collected the rental car and departed from SF to start our road trip to Lake Tahoe. We have never been there so I was looking forward to seeing snow and the emerald lake that it is known for. As always, there would be stop-overs at factory outlets for the girls, something that should never be missed.
And another travel trip awaiting....
