T o k y o I n x s

I have been to Japan several times, but this is the first time that I have visited the land of the rising sun in June. So, how do I make of it? Simply awesome!
For once, there is no heavy luggage of winter clothings. Our daily outings would start with a simple wear and go. Every movement has become lighter, even with my loaded camera bag. Travelling in crowded train is also a breeze.
And the weather? Fabulous(except for the day when it rained when we were up in the mountains)! The daily temperature hovered around mid 20s C, dropping a further 3-5 notch at night. This made distance walking very comfortable - not hot or sweating, which I am most capable of.

I don't always shop when I travel, but the favourable exchange did wonder to my wallet. I literally shop everyday, and have now fully loaded my wardrobe with clothings from Uniqlo. To cap it off, my waistline has gained a few inches, thanks to my indulgence for Japanese food and beer in our nightly patronise to Izakayas. I still love winter but this trip has certainly given me new insights of touring Japan in Summer.

And another travel trip awaiting....
