S a n D i e g o

I was initially apprehensive about going to Seaworld in San Diego, as I was not impressed with the one at Brisbane. It was kiddy and not adult appealing. But Sharon convinced me that it would be different and she was right. I was amazed!
We were turned back yesterday because of bad weather, when we supposed to visit . The weather today was excellent, except for a short shower. Nonetheless, it did not dampen our mood.
Staff singing carols to liven up the Christmas atmosphere.
We got to our seats early, and started our shopping.
 Let the show begin!
The orca display was simply awesome. They are so talented.

Do not laugh at me you kids, I am warning you. I have my reason for this outfit.
 Oh boy, were they wet!
We strolled around the park after the first show ended, and waited for the next one to start
Ok, promised you won't bite my pony tail if I take you for a walk
A family stopping to try their hands at the game booth.
I bet you are jealous of my long lashes, aren't you?
Show time. Favourite pets performing, and they are so adorable.
Even a piggy got into the act.

Our performers saluting to the happy spectators.
Some of the 'closed fans' enjoying the show too.
 More show time...
...and this time, our flipper friend, the dolphins.

What a spectacular height they could reach.
We managed to squeeze in a final show to make our money worth.

These guys are indeed funny entertainers.
All creatures big & small, and all talented.
When the shows ended, we paid a visit to the aquarium
Puffin posing
Make way! I am plunging with a triple reverse somersault.
Baby shark in a touch pool
But you wouldn't want to touch these guys.
Or these fresh eating piranhas.
Who put the light here? Look what it has done to my face. Freckles!
Hmmm... why does this kelp not taste what it used to be?
Bright red flamingos standing tall and proud.

We had a lot of fun in San Diego, especially at Seaworld. I wished we could have more days here but we were chasing for time. We would make a single day stop at each destination for the next few days, and hope to see as much as possible. Los Angeles is next, back to where we started.

And another travel trip awaiting....
