My sister and her family were based in Tampa, Florida for awhile, and we took the opportunity to visit her. I have been to Florida on a business trip previously, but did not get to stay for a day. The hurricane struck Miami and together with a colleague, we were evacuated out of Florida on the same day we arrived. What a shame. This time however, I had a wonderful time with my family in Tampa for our summer break.

At Ballast Point Park.

Omg! What is she up to now?

A beautiful shop selling all things about cats.
Hmmm... what flavours should we get?
Bargaining at a flea market.
This lady sells loads of Beanie Babies, which Sharon is a big fan of.

The photographer being photographed.
Its a beautiful day to be out at the beach, enjoying the sea breeze and spending quality family time.
Florida is famous for its soft and fine white beaches.
We drove to St Petersburg and visited The Pier.
Sail boats lining along the marina at 2nd Ave NE.
The bait house is not opened...
...and the pelicans are waiting patiently for their meals.
Its feeding time!
Mind you, the pelicans are BIG.
Any catch today, bro?
"That's it! You people have stood in my way long enough. I'm going to clown college"
The old frigate in moorage at The Pier.
We had a wonderful day at the beach, and the children had their fun feeding the pelicans at St Petersburg. We would be travelling to New York for the next few days, and I was excited as it would be my first visit to the Big Apple.
And another travel trip awaiting....
