S i e m R e a p - 3

Our guide brought us to Phnom Kulen National Park, which is north of Angkor. Phnom Kulen is a mountain range with a beautiful waterfall that is popular with the locals. We were fortunate that the weather has been good as the route up the range would be closed during the raining season. The muddy tracks would render inaccessible to vehicles.
The water in the stream is regarded as holy, and this site is known for carvings (representing fertility) etched on the sandstone riverbed

From the stream, we moved inland to visit the villages and get to see their way of living.

I included in this post my visit to Psah Chas in Siem Reap. Psah Chas is known as the Old Market to the tourists and is a popular place to eat, dine & shop. Besides the temples in Angkor, the old market and the pubs are the must visit and see places in Siem Reap.
Hotel where we stayed

  And another travel trip awaiting....
