B e i j i n g

This is my first business trip to Beijing, and with only a day for R&R, my choice of travel would have to be the Imperial Palace. Yes I didn't choose to climb the Great Wall, as the Forbidden City is just too great an attraction to be missed.
 Chairman Mao
A crowded day at the palace
 Landscape, from a compact cam
 Throne of the Celestial Emperor
 From another chamber
 Trying B&W
 Introduction to the Palace Museum
 A foggy day over 紫禁城
 View seen from 景山公园
正阳门
Sculpture at 天安门广场

The visit to Beijing has certainly opened up my eyes to this city of vast history, culture & space. There is so much to know about the city, and it would certainly take more than a day to see them all.

And another travel trip awaiting....
